Already have an AI account?
Paid plans let you connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Google (Gemini), or AWS Bedrock account. Paste your provider's API key once in Settings — we validate it on save, store it encrypted, and route the chat on your tenant through it.
By default we use your included monthly edits first, then fall through to your key once you've used them up — so you get full value from your plan, then unlimited edits beyond it at your provider's per-token rate. parley adds nothing on top. You can flip a toggle in Settings to use your key from turn 1 instead (handy for privacy or to draw down an existing grant).
New to AI APIs? Stick with the included monthly edits — most owners never need their own key.

Common questions.
How does billing work?+
Monthly subscriptions through Stripe. Click Upgrade, enter your card, and you're on the new plan immediately — your message cap jumps and any new features unlock the same minute. Manage card, switch plans, or cancel anytime from Settings → Plan.
What if I run out of edits before the month is over?+
On Free, you upgrade to Starter or Pro. On Starter and Pro, you have two options: wait for the monthly reset, or add your own AI provider key in settings — your key bypasses the cap entirely (you pay your provider directly, we add nothing on top).
Why isn't BYOK on the Free plan?+
We tried both shapes and the paid-only positioning is cleaner: Free is a real trial with a real ceiling, paid plans are the long-term home. Bring-your-own-key is included with Starter ($19) and Pro ($49) as the "unlimited" escape hatch for power users.
Can I use my own domain?+
Yes — on Starter and Pro. Add it in Settings, paste the CNAME we give you into your registrar, and your site lives at yourbrand.com instead of <slug>.parley.baranova.tech. SSL is automatic via Cloudflare; you don't touch certificates. The included parley URL keeps working and 308-redirects to your custom domain so old links don't break.
What counts as a message?+
One round-trip: you send a message, the AI responds (possibly with tool calls). Tool calls inside one response don't count separately.
Can I switch tiers?+
Yes — switching is one click from Settings → Plan and effective immediately. Stripe prorates the difference automatically.
What happens to my site if I cancel?+
Your subdomain and content stay live for 30 days, then archive. We'll export the content for you on request.
Do I own the content?+
Yes. Anything written by you or by parley on your behalf is yours — copy, images you upload, brand tokens, the whole site.
